Website Design
I make small, custom-built websites. Each website project begins by asking questions: What is the goal of the website? Who is the audience for the website? Which features and services would you like to offer visitors to the website? The answers will help me to create a site that works for you, at a price that you can afford.
I usually design and code each website. My goals are to make a site that is easy to use, attractively designed, and compliant with web standards. My clients include community arts organizations, small businesses, publications, and non-profit health organizations.
If you are in need of a new site, or are thinking of re-designing your current one, feel free to start a discussion.
Site Design and Coding - Selected Projects
Kevin Harkins Photography
I designed and coded this site for photographer Kevin Harkins. Kevin's goals included making the site design "cleaner" and making it easier for him to update himself. The completed site uses a mixture of cascading style sheets and Flash to showcase Kevin's high-quality photography.
Lowell Open Studios 2004 minisite
I designed and coded the site for Lowell Artists Open Studios 2004, part of the Middlesex Beat Open Studios Event. I also created an interactive Flash map of the studio locations.
[C] - An Online Gallery of Comics and Cartoon Art
I designed and coded this online gallery for high-quality cartoon art, for Evos Arts. The first show, which I curated, contains art by Ariel Bordeaux, Gareth Hinds, Steve Hogan, James Kochalka and myself.
ILoveWonderFruit.com
I designed and coded this site for the Class Produce Group. ILWF.com publicizes their Wonder Fruit brand and features nutritional information, recipes, and a list of stores which carry the product.
Teddy & Anna: An Animated Web Serial
Teddy & Anna is an animated adventure serial set in a mythical 1930's. Young Anna Log and her robot bear find themselves mixed up with a trio of infamous thieves, a mysterious box of punched cards, high-flying airships, and more. I write, animate, and create the music for this series.
